Lloyd’s Bank Foundation: Enable, Invest and Transform

Lloyd’s Bank Foundation has three grant schemes currently running –  Invest, Enable and Transform.

Invest and Enable are multi-year small to medium funds which can support service delivery and core funding and/or organisational change. Transform is a one-off larger grant for charities tackling domestic or sexual abuse, and cannot be used for service delivery.

Grants are available for between £10,000 and £25,000 per year, for two or three years

Invest grants provide longer term core or direct delivery funding for eligible charities that are delivering clear outcomes as a result of their work. These grants are from £10,000 up to a maximum of £25,000 per year for two or three years, with the opportunity for continuation funding for a further period – up to six years in total. There are three funding rounds each year.

Grants are available up to a total of £15,000 over one or two years

Enable grants provide a great opportunity to strengthen eligible charities so they can deliver more effectively.  Enable grants are up to a total of £15,000 over one or two years, and can reinvigorate charities through funding organisational improvements, development of areas such as leadership and governance, improved systems and demonstrating outcomes. Enable grants can be applied for on an ongoing basis.

Transform (only for domestic and sexual abuse charities and it doesn’t cover service delivery)

Transform grants are for up to £100,000, to be spent over 1-2 years and are aimed at supporting the domestic and sexual abuse sectors as a whole. Funded projects will influence change beyond the individual charity receiving funding. This is a one-off grants programme running from August 2016 with final decisions in early 2017. Domestic and sexual abuse charities seeking funding for service delivery or individual organisational development can apply to the Invest or Enable programmes.
